Not many know, that the American pilots, êîðîòàâøèå time painfully lasting minutes between flights have engendered go-cart racing during the second world war.
However it was only entertainment. Then anybody could not present itself at all, that this entertainment will turn in the popular kind of the motor racing which has brought to the world so much of great racers.
The initiative proceeded from Àðòà Èíãåëüñà, mechanics of branch of firm «Kertis craft company» in Glendale which released racing automobiles in Indianapolis. In August, 1956 Ingels has constructed the first go-cart racing. It was simple, high, with a primitive manual brake. The engine of 1,84 kw has been taken by capacity from a lawn-mower «West a band». It has been submitted to general public on the occasion of autoraces in Pomona.
The first firm on a batch production êàðòîâ «ZAJQ0Xkarts company» has organized Daffi Levingston which in Pomona has passed all on a card. Simultaneously Art Ingels began release êàðòîâ from name "Karreta", and the firm created by him long time was one of leaders among manufacturers êàðòîâ.
The first rules have been developed in 1957 by the American club of go-kart racing.
Turning point in development of go-cart racing was creation in March, 1962 of the International Commission on the go-cart racing, becoming one of bodies of the International automobile federation. Go-cart racing has formally been recognized equal in rights with other kinds of automobile sports. Have been developed new kart rules FIA.
The next years of development of go-cart racing are characterized by fast technical progress in a design of the chassis and the engine. The number of the firms which are releasin karts is reduced, karts become more perfect and … is more expensive. As well as in each technical kind of sports, money start to play a main role among the factors influencing sports result.
Go-kart racing is not only a source of huge sports emotions, but also fine means of training.

Racet Mini - 85 cube., motors of Swedish firm " Rande ", with the certain restrictions, age from 7 till 10 years.
Racet - 85 cube., motors of Swedish firm " Rande ", without restrictions, age from 9 till 13 years.
Popular - Young men - the old USSR - îâñêèå motors M-125 and ×Ç-125, age from 13 till 16 years.
ICA Junior - motors without a box of transfers, 100 cube., age from 13 till 16 years.
Popular - the old USSR - îâñêèå motors M-125 and ×Ç-125, age from 16 up to … years.
ICA International - motors without a box of transfers, 100 cube., age from 15 up to … years.
